A maiden Ashes Test century from captain Charlotte Edwards helped England’s women to a recovery of sorts, as they ended the first day of the first Test on 181 for eight.
England women went 4-0 up in the T20 series against Australia with a 13-run win in Canberra.
England’s women lost the final T20 international to Australia but still won the series 4-1.
